Many years ago I set up a simple worksheet
to track the round number of days since some family dates. With time it grew in content and complexity. I would consult it when I remembered (meaning only by chance, I have poor memory) and then perhaps even act on this knowledge.
It was cumbersome, required maintenance, and – most importantly – did not have the notification feature. So I could miss an opportunity to celebrate.
But it was only when I saw that (believe it or not) the exact 10000 days after our wedding fell squarely on Valentine’s Day – I knew I had to share it for the benefit of all the humanity.
That’s how Antiversaries came to be.
